On Thursday 21 October 2021, at INTOMILAN APARTHOTEL, the inauguration of the personal photographic exhibition of the artist Roberto Rosso, curated by the art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, took place successfully.
The initiative was born as part of an agreement between the Master L'ALTRA FOTOGRAFIA of the ARD&NT Institute (Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Politecnico di Milano) and INTOMILAN ApARThotel, in collaboration with the ETHICANDO Association and the international communication platform Betting On Italy.
The art exhibition, which lasts until 30 November 2021, includes 12 photographic works on food, obtained through the original visual transliteration technique, which for more than a decade has been the focus of creative research of the well-known Piedmontese photographer.
The charming INTOMILAN ApARThotel, consisting of elegant suites inspired by design from the most beautiful locations in the Lombard capital (Porta Venezia, Navigli, Brera, Tortona, etc.), becomes an exhibition venue for works of art, with particular attention to the young artists of the Brera Academy circuit.
Roberto Rosso, with his exhibition, inaugurates an interesting partnership between the Master L'ALTRA FOTOGRAFIA, which he directs, and the Milanese hotel, which is embodied not only in the promotion of the students' photographic works, but also in the use of the sought-after suites as a set of didactic photographic workshops.
Each suite, artistically designed by the owner Paola Bonomi, thanks to the architectural choices, the furnishings, the design accessories, the colors of the wallpapers and the furnishings, constitutes an engaging experiential situation for the guest, creating an original combination of art and hospitality and at the same time a privileged platform in the center of Milan to promote the creativity of young artists.
In the era of the incessant development of new technologies - comments the curator Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico - creative languages are multiplying, overcoming the traditional taxonomies of art, and above all they are expressed in the most disparate ways, always seeking new contacts with users, often shipwrecked in experiential situations of considerable aesthetic impact.
Roberto Rosso is full professor of photography at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and is director of the Master L’ALTRA FOTOGRAFIA of the ARD&NT Institute (Brera Academy of Fine Arts and Milan Polytechnic). His works are exhibited in prestigious exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
